Nirvana owns (a brief history of nirvana)

Nirvana rules and is the greatest grunge band of all time. They won 9 awards, releasing just 3 studio albums (Bleach, Nevermind,In Utero) and a compilation (Insesticide). They are one of the most influential bands of the 90's and made the Grunge scene famous. Unfortunately their lead singer and main songwriter Kurt Cobain shot himself in the face with a shotgun and after that they disbanded their drummer Dave Grohl went on to form another successful band of the 00's Foo Fighters and the bassist Krist Novelisc went on to do solo work.In the short span of the band just 7 years their where and still are one of the most respected influential and greatest band. Nirvana first came into the limelight when they release their worldwide hit "Smells Like Teen Spirit" which instantly made them famous something which Kurt Cobain later despised. Stating that He hated the song.At the time the song also caused some controversy as their was a deodorant called teen spirit and the owners of teen spirit tried to sue Nirvana but failed.As nirvana got more popular Kurt Cobain became more depressed as he hated being famous and even released a song entitled "I Hate Myself and Want To Die" little did people know that on April 4th 1994 Kurt Cobain would of killed himself a week after he escaped from rehab.
